60th Binibining Pilipinas bets enjoy day with Childhope Foundation at Fiesta Carnival
Manila, Philippines – The candidates of the 60th Binibining Pilipinas pageant began their journey to the crown with a rewarding field day together with the Childhope Philippines Foundation, Inc. (Childhope Foundation) at the Fiesta Carnival in Araneta City on April 25.
The Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. (BPCI) invited the beneficiaries of the Childhope Foundation, a non-government organization for children in street situations, to enjoy a fun-filled morning with the Binibinis. Forty street children ages 7 to 12 years old were treated to all of the attractions of the Fiesta Carnival -- from the Pinoy classic favorites Merry-go-round and bump car to the modern Trampoline Park, go-kart, Roller Skate Rink, and Digital Arcades. The 40 Binibinis also shared snacks and lunch with the kids to cap off the meaningful day.
“For the pageant's diamond year, BPCI is focusing its efforts on children’s welfare through strategic partnerships and volunteer work. Advocating for children has always been the thrust of the organization, so expect our Binibinis to be involved in more charitable works and advocacy campaigns,” Ms. Diane Romero, Executive Director of J. Amado Araneta Foundation, said.
Fiesta Carnival, the iconic indoor amusement park in Araneta City, was reopened in 2023 with an array of beloved classic rides fused with modern exciting attractions and activities. Araneta City teamed up with REKS Amusement to share anew the magic of the iconic amusement for contemporary audiences.
