MANILA – The Philippines will soon welcome its first Ibis Styles hotel.
Araneta City on Monday held a topping-off ceremony for Ibis Styles hotel, a brand under the international hospitality company Accor, along General Roxas Avenue in Araneta City.
Present at the event were representatives from Araneta City, Accor, and Megawide Construction Corp., as well as titleholders from last year’s Binibining Pilipinas pageant.
The 15-storey Ibis Styles will house 286 rooms, six function rooms, an overhanging pool with a glass bottom, and an all-day restaurant and patisserie connected to the New Gateway mall.
Its interiors will feature designs based on historical events at the Araneta Coliseum – which is a stone’s throw away – such as the 1975 Thrilla in Manila and the Binibining Pilipinas pageants.
